As part of it's policy to improve benefits to members, particularly to those members who are unable to attend meetings, the Association, supported by a generous donations from the Ontario and Newcastle Sections, has developed a members only website, OCCAOline.net.

The site has been released and all Members are encouraged to register.

OCCAOnline.net will provide value added benefits to members and at no additional cost. To access these benefits, you must have an email address and register as a user of OCCAOnline.net. Once registered, you will create a user name and password for subsequent visits to the site.

What does OCCAOnline.net provide? The answer is simple, OCCAOnline.net provides information and communication.

Coatings Transaction will be available online in 2004 from OCCAOnline.net This means that, in addition to the printed version, members will be able to receive each paper online as soon as each issue is printed. Additionally, all papers published during 2001, 2002, and 2003, will also be available online. Non-members wishing to access these papers will have to pay $25/paper.

Other features include access to BSI papers and reports and the delivery of committee agendas, minutes and reports, including the Annual Report.

OCCAOnline.net provides members with the opportunity to enter information on their interests into a database and to use the database to communicate with other members worldwide. The database will be fully searchable.

1. Decide which email address you will use. A personal email address is better than a generic address (e.g. sales@...).
2. Pay your subscription as soon as possible. Benefits of membership are only available to members who have paid their subscription.
