Kaolin: HW POWDER is used as opacifying filler and has an average particle size of 2 microns. ALUSIL SX has a finer particle size of 1 micron and is usually used in sheen paints.
Calcium carbonate: We hold stock in Durban and Cape Town of 2 and 5 micron calcium carbonate, called HN01, HN02T respectively. This imported material is very white with a slight blue undertone and compares favourably with its competitors.
